You can't use graphite pencils in a 0 gravity environment. All the graphite dust left from pencil on paper friction gets into the holes and stuff in the tools and destroys them. Thus the person who said this ******** is a ******** . Thank you.

they are graphite mixed with a clay binder which is the main cause for the graphite to stick to things, in space it still sticks to paper due to the clay binder.

write on a paper, any somewhat large amount will do, and you will be able to shake dust off of the page
