I quite enjoy mine and consider an iphone or windows phone to be a considerable step down. Not saying that android is a "master race" but i prefer them over any other

well, it's got a cleaner app system, Andorid apps are more freelance and can manipulate the phone more, whereas apple apps are more heavily filtered and (most of the time) can't damage the phone if that's the intent

I entirely agree, i just find that the "dumbass proof" security is a nice touch, And the apps are made by people, just verified by apple that they aren't going to fuck shit up. People are generally smart enough to find out if an app is malicious or not on their own, but the general audience of an iphone is someone who doesn't have the knowledge of smartphones and would appreciate someone there to hold their hand and walk them through it. that's why i think it's a nice touch

If they aren't intelligent enough for a smart phone maybe they should stick with a flip phone. Though there is something to be said for exploiting the percentage of the market that can't find it's ass with both hands at the same time. And exploiting them in such an incredible way.

I see the iphone as a "tutorial" phone, it's for those who want a smartphone, but don't really know how to use them, they're easy to get help with and most smartphones act similarly. this'll sound like i'm bashing apple, but it's kinda life "baby's first smartphone". something to get you used to them

I applaud apple for it's ability to sell overly simplified devices for twice it's actual value. I wish I could do the same thing honestly.

Also, what is this? My boss bought one of the new iPhones and it's completely covered in glass. It's even more breakable than the last phone. Though we shipped 20,000 units at work the first day the phone came onto the market.

Apple makes their products so that they'll break over time, forcing you to buy a replacement.

Well, normally I would call bullshit, but I can't think of another reason to cover a phone in glass. Cars, gaming consoles, and computers aren't made to break over time, it's just the most cost effective way to build them. If you want something made that won't break for 30 years it's gonna cost you. And if it didn't break after five years it would be so obsolete that it would cost more to use it than it would to buy a modern replacement. This iPhone is just a laceration waiting to happen. I don't really want a phone that needs a case to protect it. I feel like the outside of the phone should be armored enough without buying an accessory.

well, the cords for their headphones and charge cables are all made so that they break similarly to the image, All of their cables are made with that same attacher and after about 3-6 months will be pulled out, exposing wires and ultimately ruining the cord. Which they charge $40 for if oyu want the shortest ipod/iphone cable

I support Android, mainly because iPhones are expensive, they break so easily and Steve Jobs was a total asshole. Even if those things weren't true, I would still get an Android because it's a good product.

I don't get the hate for apple maps. With the turn by turn in ios 6 they work just as well as any gps you can buy. They always get me where I'm going with no problems.
