Thor and Loki are not gods.
They're essentially aliens, that earlier societies such as the vikings worshiped as deities.

1) Thor and Loki are aliens
2) Loki isn't even a God in the Norse religion, he's a neutral of the Gods/occasional ally
3) Iron man's religion is unconfirmed
4) "There’s only one God, ma’am, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that." - Captain America
5) HULK SMASH!

LETS GET THIS SHIT RIGHT
1.) in the comics thor and loki and the asgardians are real norse gods
2.) in the movie there are just another race of beings, who live WAY longer than humans, and are FAR superior Phisicaly. in thor (2011) Fandral when trying to talk thor out of going to the frost giants planet states "this isnt like going to earth, bringing forth a little lightning and have the mortals worship you as a god"
3.) ironman calls thor a Demi God ONCE when he is speaking nerviously with loki, this is false, the defintion of a demi god is a god born half god and half human the comics version of hercules had a human mother and is a demi god, Thor in the comics was son of odin and Ghea the Goddess of earth, he is pure god, and in the film it appears his mother is Rene Russo's character Frigga (who is his step mother in the comics) so in the filmverse he is still a Pureblooded Asgardian.
4.) sure the the Hulk had the Phisicaly Streanth to throw loki and thor around a bit, however im not convinced he could kill ether of them, as there bodies are just to Phisicaly strong, in the incredible hulk (08) the hulk kicks a human once in to a tree, it shatters every single bone in his body, in comparison he repeatedly smashes loki against a concrete floor as hard as he can, and when loki wakes up he gets right up with no apparent real injurys. same goes with ironman, he was powered up more than normal (thanks to thors lightning) and still wasnt doing any real damage to thor, only his crimson Cutting lasers do i think MIGHT be able to penetrate thors skin

Is it just me who saw the Thor movie in which he explains why he's not a god and just worshiped as such? I don't understand why this is still going around.
demigods*
and in the marvel universe they are practically just aliens

They aren't gods in the Marvel universe. They were just so powerful when they came to earth that they were seen as gods. Since there's other worlds connected to the tree (I can't remember the name) the Greek, Egyptian, all gods of all mythologies could exist too, just as superhuman being like those of Asgard.
