You may hate me for my opinion here...but I appreciate Kanye West's older things. Not his new stuff, but specifically his Late Registration album. You know, back before he was famous. Back when he actually had to rap well to make money.

I feel the exact same way about Eminem.

No way, I totally respect your opinion and see where you're coming from. To say that Kanye is untalented is completely ignorant. Kanye is an amazing artist, he just sold himself out. Sucks really.

Graduation was one of his best albums.

That's what I've heard as well, though I'm not as familiar with it as I'd like to be.

You should check it out. It has some of Ye's most amazing work.

Solid list. I can't make a "Top 5" because I like so many, in no order. But if I had to, it would go like this (in no particular order):

Wu-Tang Clan (more specifically RZA and Inspectah Deck), Eminem, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, DMX, Xzibit, Big L, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Mobb Deep, Jedi Mind Tricks, Nate Dogg, and Outkast.

I'm sure I missed a few that I like.

nobody ever mentions redman. reggie is the most slept on. ever. EVER.

Red's good, lyrically, but for some reason, I never got into him. Although he was included when I said Wu-Tang.

For some odd reason, I physically can't listen to a song if it doesn't have a good beat. I think that's why I like Biggie better than 'Pac.

Most definitely. Wu-Tang is one of my all-time favorites. Big L is also crazy good. Jedi Mind Tricks is up there, too.

i am an equal fan of both. but if i had to choose i would pick biggie i guess
