It's probably the best game I have ever played. It will last you as long as you want it to. You can get through it as quick as possible or you can take your time and make it last up to 30 hours or maybe more. I've played around 12 hours and I've just started mission 4. It has tons of replay value since there are so many ways to do things and it all affect your journey and the outcome. I have spent so much time doing side missions and getting all the runes, charms and keys which has been really fun and I am definitely going to be playing it more again and again.

Long story short: buy or rent

Buy because you're not going to get the true experience if you rent it because you won't have time to do everything and you will probably only be able to fit in 1 play through which I think you should experience both.

Definitely, but its way to short in my opinion. But you can always repeat missions and try getting a better score.

You can play through the game in 4 hours without optional missions and loot, i spent around 25.

You are the empresses lifeguard until someone murders her. You get blamed, and your mission is basically to clear your name and put her daughter on the throne.

Althought I can appreciate the steampunk aesthetic, that's like asking for everything to be Tron themed. It's idealized and comically devoted to form over function. As compared to something like the art nouveau and deco featured in Bioshock, steampunk is wishing for a style that never actually existed.

Haters gonna hate, indeed.

Hell yeah! Lets face it, the ultra-modern look is so fucking bland and boring, the steampunk look has so much more personality.
