People always make it out like there are so many but I have never met any irl and every time I see one on the internet, there are dozens of people calling him/her stupid, so I don't feel inclined to believe this guy is serious, mostly because he's on Yahoo answers

Yes, it's called "denying shit that's staring one in the face". Of course, I will put money (not much, mind you, but that's because I'm broke) that the person above has taken vaccines, knows and accepts mutations in nature, accepts that offspring inherit traits, that thunder follows lightning, and that 2+2=4. The only thing many people really object to is the label. Others take it to their logical conclusion, but frankly, they're even SCARIER.

True, but where I live Creationism is the majority opinion (the Bible Belt... sigh). I'm well aware that's not the case but it's a combination of being surrounded by it IRL and then seeing it on the 'net.

Ha ha, yeah, it's a majority opinion here, but a minority opinion everywhere else, that much I'm aware of, though it's really bad when there are people in power with such opinions and who want to force everyone else to abide by them (I'm looking at you Senators and Congress).
