Disco. Well, did you know it?. did you know? Because of noise ordinance laws in Europe, club caners have created "silent discos" where club gems listen to music

I would go really stoned to one of these and just laugh at the silent room of raving people

Dozens of white people dancing to what appears to be no music...somebody needs to get a video of that. QUICK!

What should happen:

Everyone's headphones should be playing the same music at the same time. After a few minutes, turn them ALL off, EXCEPT for one guy's. Watch as everybody stares at him as he's awkwardly dancing.

This concept is actually the source of my username.
I never thought it would actually become a reality.

I went to one of these during a RAG week at university. It was actually pretty awesome, there were a few channels to choose from so if you didn't want pop, you could have rock, or hip-hop and such. It was great to take the headphones off every now and again to hear everyone drunkenly singing to random **** , or dancing to apparently **** all.
Only problem was though, I complained rather loudly about one DJ's choice of music and was subject to Justin Beiber's "Baby" through all of the channels for ten minutes.

if you take the headphones off in a silent disco you can hear hundreds of people singing out of tune!

In the silent disco,

No one can hear you scream

It's not because of noise regulations, it's just something that weird people do.
User avatar #178 - wooyoungkim (10/14/2012) [-]

Went to one of these on the first day of my Fresher's Week last week. It was ******* awesome.

The best was when the DJ changed channels (there were 2) on people's headphones at random, so everything would be completely out of sync for a few seconds until people realised and changed back themselves.

I took my headset off to order a drink and I could just hear 2 different sets of lyrics competing and people awkwardly improvising as the song changed. Hilarious **** .

>MFW Gangnam Style and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air were directly competing
