I'll use 0 to explain:
Step 1: 0
Step 2: 0*2=0
Step 3: 0+5=5
Step 4: 5*50=250
Step 5: (This is where it gets kinda obvious) 250+1762=2012 OR 250+1761=2011
If the last time you had your birthday was last year, you get 2011. If you had it
this year, you get 2012. Hmm. How coincidental.
Step 6: Subtract your birth year from the number. 20121994=18
Well, I'll be damned. It worked.
TIP: If you want to repost this next year, be sure to change 1762 to 1763, and 1761 to 1762.
or just don't be a reposting faggot

To clear things up for the people who are completely baffled by this, let me help explain it to you...
We shall use the variable x to represent your fap total per week. This fap total is inversely proportional to how much sex you have per week, but is directly proportional to factors such as your internet usage as well as your total amount of solitude.
So the problem asks us to multiply this by 2. Easy > 2x.
Take that number and add 5 > 2x + 5.
Multiply that number by 50? Golly... that seems like a lot of work, but in the end you have (2x + 5)(50). You may simplify this to get > 100x + 250. As you can see, the only constant that is associated with your fap count, x, is 100. So this problem is immediately showing signs of attempted mindfuckery.
The next step asks you a simple question... Have you had a birthday this year or not? Assuming you don't have a severe memory problem, you can probably answer this for yourself. If you have, add 1762, if not you only need to add 1761. So you will have 2 separate problems at this point > yes) 100x + 250 + 1762; no) 100x + 250 + 1761. You can also simplify this in order to get a more clear answer:
yes) 100x + 2012
no) 100x + 2011
But wait a minute... That number, 2012. That's sounds so familiar! Well as a matter of fact, it is. That's the year, mother fucker. And that shit is what's causing your mind fuck. As you can see, the problem asks you to subtract the year you are born. I am going to use my birth year as an example, 1989.
So... yes) 100x + 2012 1989 = 100x + 23
no) 100x + 2011 1989 = 100x + 22
I am not sure if you can tell, but the last number is your age. But what does any of this have to do with your total fap count? Well you can already tell that your fap variable, x, is being multiplied by 100, forcing it to turn into a 3 digit number that will have 2 zeros at the end. So your age will simply fall into place, causing the whole problem to work out perfectly.
So there you have it.

let X be times you fap/week
let Y be your birth year
(2x + 5) * 50 + 1762 y = RESULT
100x + 250 + 1762 y = RESULT
100x + 2012 y = RESULT
100x is always bigger than 100, so it doesn't change in any way the last two digits of the final result (which are showing your age) so the times you fap isn't taken into account
so if we take it away, you get: 2012 y = result
That's why it works. If you don't get correct result, you screwed something while calculating and you should feel bad.
For this to work next year (2013), you have to add 1762 or 1763 if your birthday has passed.
My work here is done!

Why does this work? Well, first off it doesn't matter what number you use. Any number you use will always give an even number. Adding 5 to the number will make it an odd number. Multiplying anything by 50 will always yield a number ending in 50. In step 5 ignoring the first two digits you will find that 62+50 will always give you 112, note your last 2 digits (12 as in 2012). subtracting any number with the last 2 digits being the same as the last 2 in the year you were born will equal your age, unless you have a triple digit age or you subtract with a number bigger than the number created in the steps thus giving you a negative, which if you add 10000 to will give you your age in the last 2 digits.

Wow. Aside from the three digit number part, this was accurate. o_o
