Fuck, just paint it Hot Rod Red, its a helicopter. its a flying thing with giant fucking blades on the top. Its going to be just as easy to see when you're shooting at it from the ground.

When it's on the ground, the helicopter needs to be camouflaged to make it harder to spot and attack from the air.

Camo on an aircraft can make the speed and velocity difficulty to determining with the naked eye and certain patterns and colors are used to make the aircraft seem bigger or smaller.

And then they just shoot it with a rocket or whatever shitty explosives they have.

lol works that way sometimes. choppers is a bit more difficult with it's speed and maneuvering it is capable of but for the most part the camo doesn't do a whole lot

Makes them harder to see to other aircraft that may be above them, same reason they did it to US jets in vietnam. Its also harder to spot them immediatley from the ground in mountain areas where sound echos. It may also bbe used to mark different units. i.e. orange for coast guard, blue for navy, green for army, ect. In this case Marine air units would be a sort of sand mesh whereas army would normally be solid light brown. So yes, completley valid Air Force logic.

Well then let them know that we are bathing our bullets in pigs blood before we shoot them. Whenever there is an anon fight I always suspect it's the same guy arguing with himself for our amusement.

Kinda like the planes in WWII, the bottoms were painted blue/grey while the tops green.

The eye is specialised to pick out movement, and the rotors appear black when spinning, so it would be almost useless to paint it blue. This is only exacerbated by the fact that the weather is very unreliable. It is better to camouflage it for when the helicopter is on the ground so it does not stick out like a sore thumb.
