Agreed. But it's mostly people in other countries who don't know better. They don't have 2-year contract services like here. So for Americans like me, it's just as expensive as other smartphones, more than some, less than others.

But for the other countries I believe your only option is getting the unlocked version, which is always relatively insane in price.

Well, I'm sure everyone would agree that the iphone 5 is a much better phone then anything that came out a few years ago. Most people talk shit about it because of all the applefags who think it's the best thing ever, when in reality it's not much different than the 4s.
