i'm christian and I never found anything wrong with pokemon. I mean I get how it might step on some toes with the whole demonic monster summoning and **** but if a childs game encourages your child into satanism they had bigger problems than that.

This is just a guess of why they think that it offends Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

Jews: Because everything costs so much and they don't like spending that much money.

Muslims: Because certain Pokemon have the ability to use the attack Self-Destruct.

Christians: Pokemon Evolve.

When I was a kid, my Sunday school teacher would offer packs of Pokemon cards as a reward (alongside candy, cheap plastic toys, etc) to people who passed all their quizzes for a month. My grandma, a hardcore Christian, always got Pokemon Gameboy games for my cousins for Christmas. The only people who would get offended by Pokemon are people grasping at straws for something to whine about.
