I didn't even realize that. I was to busy figuring out what was going on.

I noticed it about halfway through the movie. Then could think of almost nothing else for the rest of the film.

Even wondered if Batman was just some sort of elaborate dream.

Well now I am wondering that, or maybe just the last movie.

Technically only 3 of them were new from inception.

Scarecrow and Alfred were in the first two movies, which came out before inception.

Bane was in there?....Huh.

He was Eames in inception. The guy that Cobb meets in Mombasa.

....Eames.....Eames.....Yeah, I got nothing.

....OH.......Holy fuck.

That phrase brings me back to watching Serenity for the first time.

Time to whip out some Batman lore for people who don't know much about Azrael.

During Knightfall, DC introduced Bane, Batmans worst villain to date. Bane absolutely demolished Batman, leaving him broken both physically and mentally. Batman lost the will to fight completely, so he asked Azrael to be his successor, while Bruce traveled abroad to find himself.

Azrael, with his advanced combat suit, was very successful as the Batman, he was even able to best Bane, but it came at a cost. Azrael became mentally unstable, and was disillusioned with Batman's modus operandi. Azrael believed violence to be the only true way to stem crime in Gotham city.

Bruce returns, initially impressed with Azrael. He soon, however, learns of Azrael's brutal methods. He then trains under Lady Shiva to hone his skills so he may reclaim his mantle. After resuming his role as The Dark Knight, Wayne and Azrael battle it out in the Batcave. Instead of facing him one-on-one, Batman tricks Azrael into removing most of his armor, the source of his power. Bested, Azrael surrenders, to which Wayne responded with open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.

I'm so happy someone else knows about Knightfall. Every time I tell someone about it they tell me "It just copied The Dark Knight Rises". Do you read comics, and if you do, what do you think about Scott Snyder's current run on Batman?

I honestly am not a huge comic reader, I've only sporadically read some comic book series'. I do, however, research many comics on the internet just because I really love comic book story arcs, especially Marvel's Civil War and and anything with Post-Knightfall Batman. It is good, however, to see someone who loves comics. You don't see (m)any people like that on Funnyjunk.

If you're into Batman, this new trade paperback came out called "Court of the Owls" by this dude named Scott Snyder. Its really great, and the art is done by Greg Capullo (the guy who did a huge amount of art for Spawn).

Is that the guy who has a side quest in Arkham City? He has some thing he stabs into the ground that leaves symbols

I've beaten the game 100% what I'm wondering is what's his deal in the comics. What are his abilities?

He doesn't have any abilities. He's similar to Batman, but he's more violent. He was Batman for a while, until he intentionally beat someone to death. Then, Bruce Wayne came back and took over again.

So he's a little screwy but has good intentions?

Sort of. He's a MAJOR antihero.

I like knowing these things.
