Dick Grayson? No.
Jason Todd? No.
Tim Drake? No.
(Nor is he Damian Wayne or Stephanie Brown)

He is not Robin. He is there so that people who knows nothing about the Batman mythos can sit in the theater, and in the end go "WOW OMG IT'S ROBIN LOLOLOL"

I know.. I watched the movie. I enkoyed it, up until the last 20 minutes, it became too Hollywood and was way too predictable.

The Robin reference was obsolete and kinda ruined the link between the movies and the comics/cartoons. If your first name was Robin, would you use it as your hero-alias? No? I didn't think so, that's retarded.

I don't consider myself a purist at all.

I just don't think that the whole "oh snap, his name is Robin, he must be Robin, ding-doodle-do" was necessary. It was a step too far IMO. One of the very few things I disliked about TDKR.

That's why he would be Nightwing if he were to take up the mantle. I suppose you're upset that Talia Al Ghul wasn't the same character in TDKR as she was in the comic books as well? Nothing in those movies was supposed to be the same as in the comics, and that's really part of what made it great. If you want to see the same story told over and over again just read the comics again.

No, not really upset about Talia. Nor am I upset that joker is never seen again, or that two-face died, instead of becoming an underworld boss. Or the fact that Ra's al Ghul is a mortal man, or any of that stuff. I like the re-imagening of the universe, and I really love the movies, Christopher Nolan did an extraordinary job on pretty much everything!

What I dislike is the fact that the whole Robin character doesn't make any sense in Nolan's movie. Batman leaves, young idealist cop helped him before he left, first name is Robin. Better become the Boy Wonder now !

I know, but Christopher Nolan is a ******* genious.

God, all I'm saying is that this take on Robin really doesn't make sense, and I was kind of disappointed in the straight-forwardness of the ending of TDKR.

the third movie was kinda let down

second one was my favourite.the joker just felt so right in it

but the third...talia hated her father but when she died she decided to give her life to make sure her fathers last mission shall be finished...confusing....also ra was supposed to be near immortal 300 years old ninja in what point did he get a kid?

In the Nolan universe, he's not 300 (btw, I think it's more like 600) years old, that would kind of ruin the realism of the movies. but yeah, Dark Knight was a work of genius! Rises had no way of living up to the expectations.

Tom Hardy did an outstanding job as Bane, but there were stuff that just got out of hand.

Like Catwoman's backflip in high heels from a window 6-7 meters up. And the whole auto-pilot stuff was waaaay too obvious.
