They completely butchered halo reach, and now they have the balls to make a halo 4?

This is coming from someone who played Halo: CE on both PC and the original xbox and has played every title in the series since
Halo:CE was great, a lot of fun but could be better, Halo 2 was absolutely amazing, it is still my favorite game of all time to date, Halo 3 was decent but in my opinion less fun, equipment and weapons weren't balanced well enough, in Halo 3 you start with an AR meaning you pretty much never pick up any weapon other than a BR or special
I won't even mention ODST, we can all agree it was trash, then Halo: Reach to me is worse than Halo 3 and is the low point of the main Halo series, the game just feels dumbed down and CoD-esque with loadouts and abilities and equipment and all this other random stuff. I don't like Halo: Reach but I hope Halo 4 can restore the franchise to it's former glory.

I'm honestly not sure if I should be excited for Halo 4
Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 introduced me to the shooting genre and I loved Halo 3. It's just that the feeling of this series has been milked enough and maybe it could've been tangentially connected to the Halo franchise and been a whole new concept rather than the 6th installment.
