What if they're just a good video game company that doesn't just want to force out sequels to make money?

I just received a copy of "The Sacrifice" autographed by everyone on the Valve team, also a mouse pad signed by Gabe Newell.

In all honesty, we don't need a third Portal, Team Fortress or Left For Dead.

Portal 2 ended amazingly, both single player and co-op. With the level creator you're basically all set on anything that could ever be done for Portal now.

Left for Dead 2 is great too, but aside from melee weapons, ammo types and a few more special zombies it's basically the same as the first game. What more could they possibly add to the game if they made a third? It would be cool to have all 8 characters from both games in one really challenging map, but Bill is dead unfortunately, so that could never happen.

Team Fortress 2 is constantly being updated and added upon. New hats, weapons, maps, game modes, etc... So there's no point in making a third one when they're not done adding to the second one.

The only game that really needs a third is Half-Life, because the story isn't finished yet. Hell, I'd settle for Episode 3 just to give me a little more before they actually make the third game.

They will launch The orange box 2 with all the sequels and then they will go derectly to half life 4, portal 4, etc
