I thought that was a rather disputed interpretation. I think the common interpretation is that God will not rain down the kind of destruction on mankind as he had just done with the flood but that it does not refer to Gen 3:17.

I'm annoyed at those people who keeps talking about how cruel the bible is, specially Noah's ark. I prefer my fairytales bloody and with people dying. Like the old, more crude fairytales

i just wish that people would read the bible for themselves and learn the difference between the old and new testament instead of listening to what others say about because when people bad mouth the bible its usually people taking verses out of context or hating on the old testament
