Why?

I actually still have this case right now... just a litle updated hardware..

AMD FX 6xxx or phenom II x6 9xx
sapphire / xfx radeon HD 6950/7850
corsair vengeance / g. skill ripjaws 8GB
ASUS M5A-97 EVO
650w or more power supply
DON'T overclock until you can get a case with good ventilation and coolers
if bought on ebay having patience, waiting for good prices, you should have enought to get a good case and coolers

I'd go for an Intel i5-3570, an Nvidia GTX660, 8GB of RAM (Corsair, kingston, or something else that's reputable), harddrive of your prefered size (1TB drives are good and cheap), as well as an SSD of some kind, preferably around 120GB or larger. As far as the motherboard goes, I've always prefered Asus' motherboards, I've had 5 of them, all of which are still working. I'd recommend the ASUS P8H77-V.

That's more or less my computer. It runs more or less every game maxed out and smoothly.


Also, writing this to Guile's Theme makes me feel like such a badass.

2GB 128-bit DDR3 Video Card
and other sexy things for a total of about $650. you just need to know what you're looking for.

Wait, what? You've got an 3.4 gHz i7, but a GT630? WTF man? Why not go for a cheaper CPU and a better Video card?

and i don't have it yet... this is anticipated while i get a job and money, so depending on how well of a paying job i get, i will adjust the quality of the products.

video cards are easier to upgrade in the future.
