Yeah, I had a similar experience once when coming from a country outside EU to EU. At the border a guy was asked either to flush the vodka down a drain or drink it there. He began drinking, and after half a bottle he threw the rest away. I really, REALLY, hope he wasn't the driver.

I once went and forgot I had about 5 50.caliber bullets in my luggage to bring back to a few friends and family
This was about a year ago and the bag went through fine
The rest of the trip I was thinking of one of two things
1) Worried about how someone else with bad intentions could have brought a few bullets of their own
and
2) I could take those bullets, light them up, and perhaps killed somebody. Just because I had the ability.

Gonna be honest, I'm tired of these ******* checks. Its getting insane now. ******* X-Rays? You realize that these machines were banned in Europe because they are determined to cause cancer right? So what does this mean for the American people, huh? We'll kill you slowly and painfully, but we'll be damned if we don't increase security to ensure your safety? That's pretty backward logic if you ask me. And if you ask for the alternative, they pretty much react with mega-suspicion. I'm all for security, and I kinda get the whole liquid thing, but I think the fear has sunk too deep, too far, and is helping more than hurting at this point.

There are millions of peoples using highways, why not just stop people and check their cars for weapons. Why not stop pedestrians, why only flying?!?!

I agree, but I think the millions is a little bit of an exaggeration. Thousands is more accurate....

Remember before 9/11 when you could pretty much do whatever you wanted and they were just like "I ain't even mad"?
It was great, airports are just horrible now.

Remember before 9/11 when you could pretty much do whatever you wanted like bring a knife on a plane and hijack it?

It was a simpler time, before her coma, when handles of cheap vodka were carried onto airplanes freely and without the threat of detainment from glorified hall monitors.
