Now correct me if i'm wrong, i always thought that "geeks" were guys that were way into their hobbies, like video games or d&d, and "nerds" are really intelligent. Both are socially awkward.

That is the correct terminology. Geeks and nerds are two different types of people, Geeks being the gamers/hobby enthusiasts/ action figure collectors etc, nerds being the typically smarter type as they're known for the book reading and studying/ researching a lot. As a geek I hate being called a nerd (not for lack of intelligence) but purely because I'm not studying all the time, I'm just a gamer. I'm fairly certain that most geeks feel the same way. Nerds and Geeks are often mistaken for the other.

I agree that there is definitely a difference, but there are certainly overlaps.
Also, that pic looks almost certainly like it's just made by a geek to make them look something more like a slightly nerdy hipster that a geek. "Early adopter"? That is possibly the most pretentious way to say hipster that I've ever seen. In terms of actual geek characteristics, I would agree with the specific niche, living encyclopedia and the interests bit, but the gadgets, tshirts and early adopter bit is just unrelated to geekdom at all.

It's really a personal distinction. Some people say they are the same, and others say they are different. I don't think it matters, really, either word gets the point across.

MFW and engi uses only mini-sentries and nothing else.

But mini-sentries are essential for helping quickly push forward on Attack/Defend maps.
Even more so with Payload.

Plus having an Assault Engie with you is always a good thing. Providing they know how to play offensively.

Juuust curious, huge TF2 noob here, maybe played once or twice, but I've heard alot about it. How do you fucks find all this shit out? Usually what I do is just go medic and follow a heavy around, taking cover, etc. but like how do you know all these do's and dont's for every class

With a lot of practice.

Everybody starts out bad when they first start playing so don't worry none.
Just keep playing and practicing and you'll soon get the hang of it all.

Thanks! In your opinoin, what's the best support character? Like, imagine the greatest medic in the world, the greatest engineer, the greatest of every character, which one would be the best support role? Medic? Engineer? Sniper? Etc.

Medic is definitely the best at support.
His Uber or Kritz can quickly change the tide of of any battle.
Unlike other support classes he is actually very good at attacking enemies by himself too.
Plus his self healing ability will usually see him through the worst of battles.

But a Medic is nothing with some good healing partners.
Find yourself a good Heavy who will actually look after you and protect you from harm and you'll both be an unstoppable killing machine.

But make sure to heal the rest of your team and not just the one guy at the top of the scoreboard.

Hell yes. And now to be honest, I think they were just afraid that I was smarter than them.

But then I joined my schools ROTC. They look like nerds from the outside, but some of them were amazing runners, shooters, and thinkers. I learned confidence and other things from them.
I also learned to not give a single fuck about what people thought about my nerdy side, and I ended up with an awesome girl who is a lot like me this way. Plus shes hot/smart so win-win.
In college I continue with Martial arts each semester.
P.S after high school those jock guys all changed. Some became nice, and are now friends, other scrape the shit off trucks at the car cleaners while I laugh at them like a sir from the college I.T department window.
