Yeah where i live there is an EB games, bought a couple of games for my PS3 and the guy at the counter was giving me tips on how to get the trophies, it was awesome. Then you get the stupid people working there who just don't want to talk to you and don't know shit about games

I hate one of their stores for trying to rip me off when I was selling mint condition games, but not all of them are that bad. IE, though, I have never liked. And that is from experience, not just jumping on the bandwagon

Take it from someone who used IE from age 3-11, then switched to chrom, IE is actually a lot slower. I haven't used 8 though.

I still use gamestop, nothing wrong with them.

I've tried both Chrome and Firefox. I have not found any differences between them and IE, except for setup and whatnot. Also, I am not surprised that I am getting red thumbs (not saying it's from you or albeit).

I only just switched to Chrome myself, haven't noticed much difference. It's like switching to a much trendier and more heavily advertised car over you Model T.

You've been with them 6 years and you don't have 24,000 points yet? Do you ever trade in ANY games? THATS how most of the points get racked up. You can't expect to get a shitload of points just by buying games there and never trading any in. Even if you're a casual gamer you should have an estimated 25,000- 30,000 in 3 years. Gamestop is a good company, and they ID you because its a federal law. What kinda college sophmore doesn't have his drivers license on him at 19 anyway? I buy from Gamestop, but I sell on ebay. Unless they have a deal where you can sell them an extra game or two and get a 20-30% bonus on all the games you trade in.

Traded in one game (I forgot which one) for about $25, then added in a Madden 2006 & 2007, which they only wanted to give me 50 cents for each (and they sell them used for $1.99).
Got $36 total by adding in those two games. +$11 for adding in two games that would have only got me $1.

If your local Gamestop is running a deal like this, then figure out how much your main trade in is worth, then before you sell that, go buy a couple of cheap Madden game for $4. $20 for your original game gets bumped up to +$6-8 bucks for spending $4. net profit of $4.

I probably only sell one out of three games that I buy. Ad by the time I decide I might want to sell it, it's not even worth the gas to drive up and find out that I'll get $2 for Fallout: New Vegas.
