Satan was once an angel of god. he was one of the most trusted angels and god loved him. Satan or Lucifer as he went by back then was power horny and thought he could take over the throne. so he raised up to God and basically got his ass kicked. God sent him to hell to guard the souls of the dead and to live by him self as a punishment. so he was just a naive power-horny angel. i look at him as the same way i look at a prison guard... a man doing his job.
