OC by me. It was a long time ago I saw one of these. This is just for fun, I've noticed that a lot of people here in Scotland that says fag instead of cigarette.. Perhaps you say that in several countries. Never mind! And yes, I am a Norfag.

Right then.

Fag is a slang term for cigarette in the UK. When you put the cigarette out it is also called bumming a fag. Now... imagine the looks you get when you say that next to Americans and you get to be the one who looks disgusted at them. xD

However, I think I should also mention that in the UK faggots are a type of meatball. So you could correctly say.

"I bummed some fags at the pub last night then went home to find that my wife had cooked up those faggots for me to eat. Was a good day."

We don't actually use those words together in a sentence like that too often (maybe if we want to sound rude to foreigners) but it technically is correct.

Op is a "Fag" everybody in Britain says it, because its a slang term not the actual name for a cigarette. For instance marjuana is usually called 'weed' or 'pot'.
