touching on the subject, let me quote something that Jeromy Clarkson said about the "kind and friendly brits"

"A few moments ago, my dog died, and, as an experiment, I announced the fact on Twitter. Now, everyone must have known that when a family pet is put down, the family in question is bound to be upset. So you'd expect a bit of sympathy. And, in America, that's what you'd get.

Not in Britain, though. Moments after I posted my Tweet, a man called Ryan Paisey asked: "How does she smell?" Adam Farrow said the news was "kinda funny". Phil May wanted to know if it was James May's fault, and Tom Green said simply: "Good". All that in less than what Twitter calls zero seconds.

Five minutes has now elapsed, and still it's a non-stop tirade of abuse. Which confirms my theory. Britain is a nation of 62 million complete and utter b*******. We are the country that invented the concentration camp, and international slavery."

"Again, we must draw parallels with the US. Over there, when a tramp sees someone drive by in a Ferrari, he will say, "One day, I'll have one of those." Here, what he will say is: "One day, I'll have him out of that.""

yea, we are so rude here in America.

Having lived in/ been to different countries and using my parents' experiences, I can say Americans are generally some of the most polite people.

The person who made this hasn't been anywhere but New York, apparently.

I live in New York, and its true to some degree. If you're uptown people are pretty nice, but downtown manhattan is where the evil lurks

I have never heard the term douchedick used in America. I always say "excuse me". Although I have heard "get the **** out of my way" once or twice in the streets so it does exist.

I'm from America and I say "excuse me". I accept that some people find this funny and/or can't accept or even conceptualize that not all Americans are fat, lazy, annoying, loud-mouthed, morons, but come on already.

Look, I'm not arguing that we probably have more of that kind of person per capita that other countries, but it's just getting on my nerves, honestly. I'd never voiced my opinion on this, so I figured I'd do it at least once. Carry on, good sirs and madams.
