I dont personally like inhaling someone else's smoke, it honestly gives me a headache. If you want to smoke, im totally fine with that. Just dont stand around me so I have to smoke as well, I dont want to.

I was walking home with my extremely fat friend the other day and at one point a smoker passed us. Fat Austin (that is what I actually call him) fake coughed, waited until the smoker got about 50 feet ahead of us, then complained about smoking. He said that he didn't understand why people smoke cigarettes because they're just killing themselves.

Fat Austin weighs over 300 pounds, never exercises (beyond 20 mins of slow walking), and eats fast food almost every day. Pretty sure he's killing himself too.

Remember how tobacco used to be promoted as part of western culture? Remind you of anything? I'm talking about fast food.

Every day when walking to my classes I pass at least thirty people smoking throughout the day. Now, this wouldn't really be a problem, except that I'm allergic to tobacco smoke, so I have to hold my breath going past them or I'll start coughing and sneezing everywhere. This becomes increasingly hard with long walks or as it gets colder when I'm carrying two heavy book bags(mine and my girlfriend's because hers is really heavy and she's little). I've never spoken to said smokers, and I don't plan to because I don't like to get in people's business, but sometimes I think I should. It's not like smoking is the kind of thing where there are risks, it's more the type of thing that we know for a fact causes cancer in both first and secondhand cases, so whereas most people won't overtly tell you that smoking is stupid, it really is. You're partaking in a habit that most likely will kill you before your time and, if you smoke in public, you're spreading that habit to other people.

Long story short, OP, it's everyone's air you're smoking in. You're the douchebag here, not him.

Happened to me. I replied "Wait, smoking is bad for me? I had no idea, I shall try and stop now." Then I screamed "Star Wars", flicked the fag butt at him, and continued with my day. It was, in retrospect, a pretty cunty thing to do, but I'm a cunt, so yeah.

I'm a smoker and i hate the habit, i only started it as a substitute for weed. Now i don't like the habit, it is a horrible habit and i have tried to quit, but being put under pressure when trying to quit is horrible, I absoultely hate it when people tell me smoking is bad and to quit. My friend put it into perspective as he's a non-smoker, he will never know the feeling of wanting a ciggerette, so from that moment i've first smoked, i've got it in my system to smoke, i always see people come back into smoking after months. Maybe it's the feeling that they think they are missing out on something? So it really annoys me when people tell me not to smoke, i've heard it all before, they will never know how i feel about smoking and why it's hard to quit. Plus i suppose it's freedom of choice to smoke, it's my body i can smoke if i want. I'm even a careful smoker, if i'm smoking i tend to try and blow smoke away from people and stop smoking when people walk past me.

TL;DR' I don't like it when people tell me not to smoke, i know it's bad for me and it's hard to stop.

I have the same problem...except it's more because of the moral dilemma I have with thumbing up an arrogant douchebag.

Jesus ******* Christ you people are irritating.
If you don't want to be around someone that's smoking, either ask them politely to get out of your personal space (assuming you're outside) or just walk away your own damn self. No one's forcing you to just stand there and take it... Don't bitch about it if you can solve the problem by just walking 20 ft. away and flipping the ****** off, it's not that difficult. Also, I'm pretty sure that when you tell someone that smokes that it's bad for them, yeah, they've understood that sentence every other time someone told 'em that.
And smokers, well, there's not really much to say besides if you're around someone that doesn't want to inhale your second hand smoke, ******* move... That ****** annoying as all hell. And if you're the kind of person that likes to pressure other people into trying to smoke or tip them into a relapse, you need to ******* stop that **** , dumbass. No one wants to die because of your petty ******** and ignorant behavior.

TL;DR Screw everyone that keeps on saying the smoker/non-smoker is in the wrong. They're both stupid for not putting distance between each other.

Righteous for future reference :)

I used to and now and again in my room or during a movie but my walls are green so it wont change soon. Exactly it is like a non wanker walking into a wankers bedroom and telling them to not watch a certain porn genre

I don't care about smokers, but I hate the ones that stand right outside the ******* door at places like malls. If you're going to pollute the air with your cylinder **** stains, walk 15 feet away from where hundreds of people walk every few minutes.
