Whenever I play music in the car, I always turn it down when I'm stopped at an intersection. I've done a bit of testing in my school's parking lot, too, to gauge how loud the volume can go without being heard through the closed car door. Maybe I've taken it a little far, but such is the life of a socially conscious rock-music lover.
