Yep, I was born in China, so I use chop sticks all the time for things like noodles and rice. The rice that normal Asian people eat sticks together when you pick it up, it's just because of western culture rice and the fact that the people who haven't used chop sticks for more than a year press too hard on the rice so it falls apart that people think it's hard. It's not hard, just don't press so hard on your food.
