If they are worthless without the horn, than why is it being protected by armed guards? I would assume the rhino's skin would be valuable as it is so rare, like for taxidermy purposes for instance.

Thats what kills off species. The resulting offspring, IF one could be conceived, would be born with defects. The bible says that God said "divide and multiply" and even Darwinism shows that species that mix with other species within their genus tend to have better offspring. Stronger, faster, the works...

It's definitely true that inbreeding results in deformities, which is why I didn't thumb him down. However, It is not true that having them breed would be bad for their species. It is also widely accepted that the definition of a species is that the organisms can breed with each other. Darwinism also doesn't really show animals mixing with other animals in their genus, because only specific animals can breed with another outside of their species, and even then it's fertile so it's no use.
