In all seriousness, Towards the begining of english, R L and D were interchanged heavily. The R sound was hard to make for people who weren't familiar with it, therefor L and D were used in its place, in this case - D. Richard, shortened to Rick - pronounced Dick. As the language evolved, this just kinda stuck.
