My father and I raised a pair of Opossums from birth. They were probably the best pets ever, litter box trained, never tore anything up, rambunctious when you wanted to play, and calm when you were just chilling. But...
STORY TIEM.
>Be 8 with father in the drive-through of a Taco Bell.
>Has Opossums on his shoulders.
>Black lady comes up to the window to hand us food.
>Dad-"Watch this"
>Turns hat sideways, roughs up his beard, gets crossed eyed.
>"YA'LL GOT SOME REAL FRIENDLY OPOSSUMS UP HER IN MISSOURA"
>"Scuse me?"
>Takes and lifts one up by the tail.
>"Found 'er outta dem trash cans, dey real friendlah, not like the ones'n Arkansas."
>She proceeds to flip the fuck out and goes to get the manager.
>Dad fixes appearance, and hides the Opossums.
>"Sir can I get my food now?"
>"Sorry sir, she thought she saw a raccoon or something."
>"Do I look like an unkempt hoosier to you?"
>"No sir, sorry sir."
>Our Faces when we left.
