Lol please, if you can't even understand politics in general, don't bother with ours.

Within a time frame of less than 4 years, Obama has been able to raise our debt 6 trillion. Our unemployment is higher, the amount of tax revenue has plummeted (primarily because the number of top 1% of income earners have left the U.S. at 7 times the rate they were before Obama was elected), there are now over 1/3 of Americans on welfare, etc.

As for blaming our current situation on Bush lol? You are undoubtedly one of the biggest fools I’ve had the displeasure of knowing. Our problems were caused by the canton era, not the Bush era. Although I do like Clinton for many policies, he made disastrous mistakes. Such mistakes include NAFTA and forcing of banks to lend money to people they knew couldn’t pay back just so everyone could have house. Lol, yea we can clearly see how well that worked out (housing bubble, thus causing the major recession of 2008). Not only his, but Bush also had an all new type of war. But the most important thing we seem to neglect is the fact that the job rate was going up very well up until 2007 when the Democrats took the House and Senate 9refer to the picture to your left). Yet, Bush still raised out national debt 4.6 trillion dollars which is nothing to be proud of. This took him a grand total of 8 years, along with the help of NAFTA, the bubble, and the war. Within Obama’s first term, he has raised the debt 6 trillion dollars. Yup that’s right, our national debt is now at a whopping 16 trillion. If you honestly believe that won’t come back to hurt us, than you are truly naïve.

also, with him using 447 billion dollars more, he would have increased the debt by 7 trillion then that would mean that he has increased the debt by 2x more than bush did in his 2 terms. You can't even blame that on inflation either! Jobs have gone down since Obama took the office and there are loads more people on welfare. Obama did bring back a small amount of jobs that he already lost though. It's like a delivery man losing a pizza with eight slices, he finds one of the slices and gives it to you while saying "you're welcome"

No, he has brought back a percentage of jobs that he already lost. He has not created a single job. Again, look at the pizza statement. That is the best way I can possibly describe it. He lost those jobs and he brought back a fraction of what there once was. This is nothing to be grateful for.

That chart you posted has an odd factor which makes the numbers over dramatic. "16 years and over" A lot of people between 16-18 choose not to work because they are still being provided for by parents, which make the numbers jump. And the graph I used before was made by another person from the BLS information to make it more simple for the less intelligent to read, so it might have a bit of a odd number pattern as well.

Also I'm not gonna lie, it is fun bouncing stuff like this with another person. It helps fill in holes.

It's still a helluva lot better than obamacare though. Now that would have cost us much more and drain the money from social security. The way Romney wants to do it is so that the people who have been paying into social security all of their lives will still receive it in the end. It is so much better than the other. I don't blame him though! Many banks were bailed out a while back and some even failed. I'd keep my money as far away as possible. I also wouldn't want unnecessary taxes taken out just because I have a lot of money in the bank. Seeing as how the time for an even bigger economical collapse is bound to happen soon, he made a genius decision. Just because he has a lot of money doesn't make him a bad person. It just means he is doing a good job financially.

Too many purple lines so we have to continue here. Anyway, I don't see that at all because he gave away his inheritance to charity, and also gave 30% of his income to charity last year. He keeps money for himself and then donates a lot of it. So seeing as how he paid 15.5% in taxes last year also, he gave up 45.5% of his income. That's not greedy at all.

It really does man. I love debating things online due to the fact that I don't have work until 6 hours away... Anyway, It has to have 16 years and older because 16 is the age to legally work. The numbers are there though. Right when Obama took office it skyrocketed. I think early in his term he had good intentions. The way he went about them were naive and harmful to society, but they were still good intentions. Now all he is doing is trying to do anything he can so he can win, as to him and the voter ID dilemma and the gay marriage stance he pulled outta his ass just to secure more votes. Also, if he doesn't win now he REALLY made a big mess for the next guy. I know people said that about Bush, but this is so much worse. What we really need to do is change congress. We need a republican majority because they usually fix things. Ever since the majority of the house has been Democratic, we have been declining as a nation at an alarming rate.

Even thought there does need to be a change like that, I just don't see Romney as the right choice. He is too wrapped up in his own wealth to care about the lower or middle class. He may say he is gonna help them, but he knows the loopholes to keep his money safe. Plus with the offshore accounts he just doesn't seem that trust worthy. I would rather give Obama a second term.

I've been to the government website but it doesn't explain the detrimental effects this can have on society. You're just looking at the list that has headers. How are they going to do all that they actually want to do? It's not like they sign the bill and then it just magically happens. The plan would also cost 447 billion dollars. It also gives tax breaks to companies who insource their jobs, But insourcing costs more money. This meaning that when the prices of their projects increases by 25% then they will have to look for ways to cut back. These cut backs are layoffs. and who will get laid off? The worker that was just hired. It's an ignorant move.

Lol wait wait wait...that was your source? That was your big dagger that crushed my argument? Lol I could go on for days debunking your entire ideology, but it simply isn't worth my time. I'm not trying to save the world. I'm just throwing my 2 cents in despite knowing it will only continue to burn if the nation keeps going down this path.

You self-entitled brats are so damn stupid that it literally leaves me speechless sometimes.

People like you that think you are worth the time is the sad part. His speech is a **** over on his votes, that was all I said. For you to get so butthurt is just sad. He is a greedy bastard that hides so much money over seas. And I only gave you one source prick, the big one that is going to sink his votes.

You thinking that you are right because you went on a couple news sites is sad.

The man donated 20% of his income to charity in 2008. Obama who is also very rich, and who also has an kim jongistration which is primarily full of fatcat bankers who all took bonuses from his bail out, hasn't even come close to donating this amount. In fact, it was less than 1%. Our good Joe Biden donated a whole 300$.

As for me only reading a "couple of news sites". Lol no. I am a successful business owner and independent website developer. I majored in both Economics and Finance. I read Economics/Politics just as a hobby. So do not try to undermine my understanding of something that you clearly cannot grasp.

P.S. New figure: Mitt Romney donated another 30% of his income to charity (4 million) in 2011.

30% of his traceable income, not counting the millions he is hiding overseas. That is called covering tracks.

Do you really believe the president can be directly attributed to the national debt? Debt gains interest. 12.1 trillion of our debt is due to the Reagan, Bush, and Bush II kim jongistrations.

i hopåe you realise that most of the debt is comming from the helath care system that gives free health care so poor people dont have to choose about thir life and the life of thei sick family. and the only thing mit romney realy care about is to make more money for himself and his friends. romney earned his big pile of money by making companys going out of buisness. some people realy dont see what is the best for them

So you're saying that because he is forcing us to pay for something we would otherwise choose to pay for, he is doing a good job? Even with Obama's healthcare plan you can still be turned away from certain benefits if you're too risky. And don't give me the whole "Everybody will get it" thing. My roommate has a brain tumor which is in remission and he was able to get healthcare. He is driving America into the ground and everyone is too stupid to see it because he's "popular".

That's free healthcare you're thinking of. What Obama wants to do is force people to pay for it. The poor will still have to pay for healthcare. Go look up the facts of what he wants to do. Not on some bias website either.

Oh nononononono Michael Moore is a complete asshole. He doesn't know the fine details of the things he fights for. He is INCREDIBLY bias. I do like your healthcare system over there also, but there's no way it would happen here. A day late and a dollar short. Besides, Obama doesn't even want that either. And hey... before you go bashing on someones beliefs maybe you should look into them some more. Mormonism is all about acceptance and love.

Lol ohhhh alright then. I was super confused! Yeah, there are many fallacies about the Mormon church. Most of them are actually extremely funny to read about. Well it was nice to have this little chat :)
