We all originated from one continent and as time passed people began to move away from each other and so did the new formed continents... people that moved near the equator turned darker and people that moved away from it turned whiter. according to some, Asians got there eyes by living in very windy places. And all of this is possible over the course of 1000s of years.

Isolating a population will change the genetics. Seeing as all races were separated by environmental factors (waters, mountains, ect. ) they couldn't intermix genes. So they kept the genes that were useful for that area. With nothing to 'taint' it, it just became standard.

Sorta like horses. They all derived from one common ancestor but now you can actually tell the general bloodlines that they came from.

Well, the exact chromosomal difference can't be distinguished (yet) because a chromosome is an extremely compact strand of DNA, which you can only really see in the brief period when the chromosomes are in the process of cell division.

Full chromosomes can, in general, somewhat be broken down into Locusts and Alleles.
But, unfortunately which alleles control which feature can be very hard to distinguish.

Or, to be even more specific I can inform you of haploids, which are pretty hard to understand. They carry difference mutations of the genome which are marked down as numbers (such as M253 and M307, which are located on the Y chromosome. )

Buut, if I remember correctly.. Irish tend to have Haplogroup R1b (roughly 90% of the population, however this group is also found in the surrounding populations in different percentages) and Anglo-saxans have been somewhat linked to Y haplogroup 1a.

Chromosomal differences aren't clear cut as 'Irish have gene A, Africans have gene B' It tends to linger around the area barriers and tends to work more like fading and gradiations.

They are close by, yes. It works by the location.

Lets try this. There are two areas on a table. One half is white, the other blue, like this picture. The grey is one gene, the blue is the other. We're going to place a scenerio that might not apply to humans directly, but still has the same principle.

These dots are hunted by predators. Obviously, being white on a white area gives you an advantage, you can't be seen easily to be eaten. There may be one or two blues, but the overall color of that breed is white. But not all the world is white, there is also a blue world, and since they don't stop sharply there is this intermingled space where the colors tend to mix in this area. However, the deeper into blue you get, the harder it is for white to hide effectively. So, naturally, the higher number of blue dots you will have.

Okay, so let me state this as clear as I possibly can: The chart was used to demonstrate how the dispersion of genes worked in a more exaggerated means.

Just because it's not a huge difference, doesn't mean that's not how it works. Our system is far from perfect. Only since our modern technology has come about that the dumbest people can get food. Before then we had to hunt and survive by the skin of our teeth. Even the most minute trait can give an advantage. If you are dumb and can catch food, you get to live. But if you can't produce offspring you're a dead end.

So, that being said. Way back in the timeline these small mutations could have been by the specialized founders who were more successful and produced the most offspring. And when you do that, you find a dominance in those genes in that area, whether the original trait is still present or not.

Aaactuaaally, races are fundamentally different. For example, you can tell a persons race from their bone structure. While it's true that weather may have guided skin color, the races are extremely different.

For example, did you know that the asian 'folded' eyes is actually an adaptation to cope with more winds? At least, that's what I have read.
