There was one episode where one guy pulls a gun out of ash, and Team Rocket pulls out a gun on him. And meothe is dressed like Hitler.

And in another one they enter a bikini contest and they have to enter in Misty, but James uses inflatable boobs to try to win instead. In the end, Ash's mom won.

I knew about those episodes already... but what I heard was closer to "Yugioh: Season Zero".

Pokemon's Anime was originally supposed to be what the manga is, I believe.

yeah, but the editors ion charge of the anime decided that "magical pets" seemed like a perfect theme for a children's show, so they changed it.

Viz Media is up to vol 14 I think it was (as if they stopped) Chuang Yi is up to volume 40 and don't censor their mangas at all. I actually think Viz Media cut out the Ruby/Sapphire series too, to Chuang Yi would be the better company to go through

I loved the card game but couldn't stand the anime. Then I read the manga. I don't see why they changed it...

Season was the anime for the first 7 manga. Kazuki was told to dial down the horror (on a horror genre manga...So by the 4Kids was through with it, YuGiOh was rinsed through censorship three times), and he probably focused on Duel Monsters fo rthe reboot so he could get a lot of funding from Konami, plus kids were buyign them, and they were buying yugioh manga as a result. It's the same with pokemon.

It is. That's why i really want season 0 to be remade as an OVA or movie- Yami Yuugi was a friggin maniac- he put Bakura to shame.
Okay, so there's a lot of characters not in it because it's all before Duellist Kingdom, but after reading/watching it, the last arc of Duel Monsters is a lot easier to understand.
