Nuking Japan was the best possible option. If we had invaded japan's mainland, we would have lost many more soldiers. Also japan's population would have been decimated. Stop using this ridiculous argument.

Nuking Pearl Harbour was an act of war, 9/11 was an unprovoked terrorist attack, idiots need to stop using this argument.

Bush is exactly the kind of president we needed at the time. a president with a back bone that wasn't afraid to say "tomorrow these terrorist will hear us."

It was unprovoked. An attack without warning is pretty unprovoked.

Just what did he do then?
He was in office for 8 months when it happened.

Nuked pearl harbor? You just didn't make yourself look any smarter.

Sorry, nuked Hiroshima, bear with me I'm running on 4 hours of sleep.

Excuse me but, are you saying that Japan nuked Hiroshima?
#178 to #171 - icetitan (09/17/2012) [-]
You are an idiot if you couldn't understand what he was saying. For fucks sakes you knew what he meant. He is using logic anyway. You ain't.
User avatar #183 to #178 - arandomanon (09/17/2012) [-]
Excuse me if I missunderstood the sentence, I didn't mean anything. That's why I asked politely wether he meant what I understood or not. Good day sir

ok wtf I never left that comment. im fucking hacked.
User avatar #198 to #192 - arandomanon (09/17/2012) [-]
You should watch over your security sir. They may have hacked this pointless account in this pointless site but they could hack important stuff.
Unless you don't care, in that case do whatever you want.
I salute you again and wish you a good day

No, I made a mistake before, America nuking Hiroshima in Japan was an act of war, while 9/11 was a terrorist act, completely unrelated things but people always compare them.
User avatar #177 to #174 - arandomanon (09/17/2012) [-]
Well people compare them because usually american people talk about 9/11 like it was the biggest atrocity in the world... when, althought it was an unexcusable terrorism act, it wasn't. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are an example
User avatar #212 to #177 - ivoryhammer (09/17/2012) [-]
I've never heard any Americans say that 9/11 was the worst thing in the world, worst thing in America yes, because the only other attack on US soil was Pearl Harbour, another unprovoked attack.
User avatar #218 to #212 - arandomanon (09/17/2012) [-]
I'm not american but in news and TV, some time ago, I heard how some americans were talking about that in that way like hinting it was the worst thing since WWII. I understand it was an unprovoked act of war (like, as you pointed, Pearl Harbour) and I understand it was horrible but it wasn't the worst thing in the lasts decades.
As I said below, I didn't want to offend anyone. It was only a comment and I apologize if anyone felt offended becaue of that.

I don't feel like getting in an arguement, good day sir :)

I'm confused, what does this post have to do about war?
Or are you just being a dick and insulting a country for no real reason?

Name was chosen when I was anon in a roll thread. The way I see it, I was lucky to not get something like "faggasaurus" or "dogpussy".
#144 to #137 - mylazy (09/17/2012) [-]
I believe that he believes this is relevant because the post itself involves America rather than war.
User avatar #157 to #144 - ilovehitler (09/17/2012) [-]
Eh, still stretching it to me. It would be like mentioning Germany's involvement in the American war of independence (I don't know if that's the correct name, it's escaping me at the moment) and then somebody talking about nazis.
#169 to #157 - mylazy (09/17/2012) [-]
I was just telling you why he thought it was relevant. Not particularly agreeing or disagreeing with whether he is or not.

I know, and I was explaining my opinion to what you think his reasoning was.
