What are you, 12?
1. 7 hours of school is including breaks, which probably add up to about an hour.
2. It's ******* 7 hours, assuming you sleep 8 hours a day (more than most people) you still have 9 hours a day to do whatever the **** you want. A lot of people work 16 hour days just to get by. Your life is not ******* hard.

I think the "Are you ******* kidding me" is for the said "Homework: because 7 hours of school wasn´t enough." in a sarcastic meaning, or OP is a ******* ungrateful little prick

Oh, you have 7 hours of school and then homework? That's rough. Your life must be so tough. I mean, there are people who go to school full-time and then also work two part-time jobs to pay for said school because they're not ungrateful little ***** and they value getting an education. But yeah, having to do homework must be so tough.

One of the main points of homework is so that teachers can know that you are able to do the stuff you learned without their help, or if you have trouble with it, you go in to see them so that they can help you understand it better and learn.
If your homework is easy but time consuming, stop being a lazy ass, and just do it so that it gets stuck in your head and becomes like second nature to you.
I failed my first year of sixth form/college/upper high school/whatever you call it, because I did the absolute minimum for homework and by the time exams came around, I was seriously struggling because I hadn't been practicing any of the things I'd learned in class. Now I'm having to resit the year for seventy-five percent of my classes so that I can actually get qualifications I need for a decent enough job.
TL;DR version: Don't be a lazy ass, do your damn homework so you don't end up with a badly paid, low end job that you hate.

7 hours isn't the worse compared to other countries. And is definitely fine compared to regions without schooling...

I'm in college and shut the **** up.
User avatar #4 - satanisthesavior (09/14/2012) [-]
The point is that they need all that school time so that they can carry the kids who can't learn and/or don't want to learn through. If you're bored, it's probably because you are smarter than most of your peers.

Don't worry, it gets better in college. Wait until you are trying to cover a whole textbook worth of material in half a year with only two 1.5 hour classes a week.

At the end of the day school is really about maintaining more than breaking class structure.

The homework they give you is to get you used to needing to do "more than is expected" so your future boss (who is planning on laying you off anyway for a "decreased labor expense bonus") can eke weekends out of you for no extra compensation all while waiting for the right time to screw you over (and quite likely discreetly kill you due to artificially induced poverty).

Fun fact: Bells in school originated to get you used to responding to tones used commonly in factories.

You really have no direct control over your life. The best you can do is try to control the marginal probabilities but at the end of the day your success or failure is largely dependent on luck and how well liked you are.

It is NEVER about what you know. Research shows that only 50% of CEO's have a college degree of some sort. Despite what market economists would have you believe, success is not built nor earned, it is granted.

Same with happiness.

Right now I work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and I'm only 20. Enjoy school while it lasts, I sure miss it.
