Apple has stole more ideas than any other company in recent history. Apple is also the biggest bullshitter in recent history.
There were even windows and non windows tablets with touch screens in the 90s, they did have black and white screens though. They just never took off like they did in recent years. And just because Apple set off that new trend that makes them the inventors of tablets? Hell no it doesn't
I will give it to Apple for being brilliant marketers to computer illiterate people, they are the best company for that task. Microsoft just doesn't make stuff shiny enough for iSheep. All an iMac, iPad, iPod, or iPhone is, is a shiny linux based device that has an operating system dumbed down for computer retards.

Even if this or any other previous tablets ever existed, the iPad isn't innovative. Its just a big iPod touch. That is literally all it is.

Except that's not really the tablet as we know of it today.
It's more of a laptop that you could flip the screen around. While you could use a specialized stylus on it, it wasn't all that responsive and was generally lackluster.
While I do prefer the windows OS, I will say that Apple makes good tablets.
