Why does everyone always feel the need to defend their religious beliefs whenever theres a post like this that is obviously a joke. If you actually feel secure about your religion then you should be able to brush this off and think nothing of it.

People who believe that God will make them better do have a higher chance of getting better due to the placebo effect. Whether real or not, the idea of "God" does help heal people.

Doctors are some of the highest paid people around. If they get butthurt because someone thinks God helped them survive then they need to consider a different profession.

Consider this,
They spend a lot of time and money to get the training they need to help people, and they often have crazy long hours. Then, when they heal a person who would have died otherwise, they don't get any credit.

On the other side, if they mess anything up they get all the blame.

If you think Christians don't actually thank their doctors, you're a moron.

It's just like a kid thanking Santa Claus for the Christmas presents his parents bought for him, I guess.

I give credit to doctors too. They're great at their jobs and without them taking the initiative to learn medical **** that normal people can't comprehend, the human race would have died out long ago. But without God giving them intelligence and resources enabling them to do so, then they couldn't be as helpful as they are.

So it's both. A mutually interdependent relationship. Doctors can cure people as long as God enables them to do so, and God helps them cure us as long as the doctors make the choice to use the abilities He gave them.

Two sides. One coin.

Thank you for not being an ass about your beliefs. I am an atheist, just to clarify. I, in all honesty, find the idea of a supreme creator absurd, but I also see why others do believe in it. Thumb for you. Keep on fighting the good fight to let the world know that the loud minority that goes around being douches to EVERYBODY is just that, the minority.

Remember that time you were being paid 6 digits to do surgery on someone who was recently in a car crash and now has to pay out of his ******* ass for a few years to pay off the bills and wishes he was never saved and died?

You're a dick.
