It's mostly because we're neither considered an European or an Eastern country. So there's no close shipment point, and only local products are cheap. I have yet to see a foreign product that's reasonable in price. iPhone 4 was 1500$, in example.

Can't you order that stuff online? Even if you have to pay for international shipping, it would still be a lot cheaper than to pay those local prices.

I have multiple computers. This one is quite new and my new SSD only has 256GB space, which is what I play games on.
No I'm not really a richfag, but I almost only spend money on games, still live at home.
I mostly buy games on at least 75% sales or through 3rd party sites. But the games I play most I do pay normal price for. Mind you that while console games cost 60$, PC games do not - they are usually cheaper.
I also have a lot of indie games from the humble bundles, as you can see.

I bought the whole Assassin's Creed series, but can't play it cus it keeps freezing and I'm too lazy to fix it.
