Did I say that I use games as a source? What I'm saying is that biographies tend to be biased, and not a very legit source for neutral information. Most people are the heroes in their own biographies you know, even more so in a culture that's free of Jantelagen. I think the recent outrage is because we were taught in school that Edison was a glorious inventor, an ingenious and humble man, while Tesla was barely mentioned.

P.S. Tesla was planning on giving free energy throughout the world. He almost accomplished it, but he didn't have the funds after his investors found out they would make no money off of it. Recently some university invented a chip that regulated the frequencies properly though, and allows the transfer of energy as he designed properly, and they assume it won't be long before they can perfect it. A few more things have to be invented for it to work 100% as planned, but from then on power can be free and available from wherever. No more batteries, no more charging. One more step toward utopia.

I studied electrical engineering last year and I can assure you that Tesla's project was just a product of his growing insanity, it had not solid scientific basis. Tesla was greater engineer than scientist, he didnt even believe in relativity, free energy is just absurds and contradicts thermodinamics

If you were an electrical engineer you would know he wasn't aiming for "free" energy, he was aiming for FREE energy. As in cost for the consumer. It would still have to be generated via generators. And obviously it wasn't that crazy, we're still developing the machine and have some* functionality (no sources, sorry).
And he's using hyperboles to make a point, but he even acknowledges Tesla's insanity. The man had a pidgeon as his lover, and he even admits it.

P.S. Relativity is becoming iffy. On a macro level it worked fine, but in quantum levels it's not behaving properly. Since we've started our studying of quantum-level physics, we've seen relativity become shaky at best. Tesla may have been right. (again, no sources, I'm lazy.)

1) Tesla proposed we could transfer energy wirelessly. Which we can. Why is wireless energy so infeasible? Sure, it won't work because people are greedy shits and wouldn't dare do such a thing for simply the good of humanity, but it's physically psosible.

2) Relativity is correct at macro scale. Quantum mechanics is correct at quantum scale. However, relativity is constantly being questioned by data in quantum physics (and then they say the data must be wrong, even though repeatable). Does anyone else think that maybe, just maybe, Newtonian physics don't apply at quantum scale and vice versa?

1).Wireless energy is ok,it exists eventough is highly unefficient,a copper cable as an efficiency of more than 90%, but the cost is not to transfer energy, you first have to produce it and that is where the cost is at
2).quantum mechanics is an incomplete theory,as far as I know it doesnt explain how gravity works, relativity does; each theory explains things the other doesnt, in the past you couldnt apply physics to chemistry, until physics and chemistry were developed enough.Relativity and quantum mechanics are not opossite, netiher theoretically or experimentally, but they seem impossible to synthetize in a single theory.In fact, physicists as Stephen Hawking believe this is impossible as it contradicts Godels incompleteness theorems

1) I think we have a misunderstanding. I am in no way imply that energy can be created or destroyed (without the creating/destruction of matter), nor that it would be free to produce energy. I'm just saying "free" because there is no way of managing who would get the power if it was wireless, and therefore no way of charging people. Unless it was a government run project with a tax added to cover it.

Uhm... He built such a device and proved it worked at the 1893 World's fair... He almost finished a large scale tower, but it was cancelled in 1905 (when the funder found out about the no regulation thing and knew he wouldn't be making cash) then used for scrap in WWII. The principles he used are being used by HAARP today. He didn't "make" energy for free, he gathered it form the ionosphere or something (I'm not well versed in his data). And if it's just rantings of a mad lunatic, why were his journals and research taken and hidden by the government (still are)? If he's insane, why not just let everyone have at the "delusional" research that would be IMMEDIATELY conceived as false, and tests would prove it as well.
