Stephen Hawking is a genius don't get me wrong, but I don't understand why everyone holds him to such a high standard. Both his universal origin theory and his black hole theory were flawed enough that any other scientist would have been laughed at but for some reason he is special?

I don't care if this gets thumbed down, I just think there are far better and more worthy scientists out there who actually contributed to the world.

It's weird. The more you learn about something really does change the way you look at things(at least for me). I studied virtually everything I could find about the Physics surrounding   light/color/darkness/etc. And i'll never look at things the same again. Much more respect for daylight/night-time etc.
