I know 1 weeaboo girl. She uses japanese words mid sentence and uses the words wrongly. I once asked her "Why are you so fond of yaoi?"
She said "Because it's the only way I can see Jiraya and Kakashi kissing"
I then told her "Uhh.. You could also watch gay porn if you want to see guys kissing and shit."
.. She said "Yaoi isn't gay. It shows deep love between 2 men."
MFW she said that.

So this content complains about weeaboos, because they use Japanese words to sound cool. But otaku (mis)use the Japanese word "otaku" to describe themselves, because it sounds cool, so I think that pretty much blurs the line between both.
And I say "misuse", because the otaku in Japan are nothing like what is described here. The word "moderation" is not a word you use to describe a Japanese otaku.
Ah, and while I am usually not one to point out spelling/grammar mistakes, I enjoy the irony of having a sentence with a grammatical error ("it's major flaws") right under the statement "Will use proper grammar and spelling".

I like anime but I don't like Naruto. I know a little japanese, I think Death Note is the best anime/show ever, but I like western animation. I have never used the word Kawaii in a conversation. I'd like to see Japan, but I don't see it as some kind of holy land. What am I?
