well if you take it from a purely statistical stand point there has to be aliens, there are several hundred galaxies we can see each with several billions stars. of the stars in our immediate vicinity 1/4 have gas giants, which are necessary to the survival of a planet such as ours because they shield us from meteors. so it is safe to assume that there are probably salver billion other planets like our in our galaxy, whether they support sentient life is another matter entirely.

So the fact that our universe is still existing, with Earth untouched is proof to the null hypothesis that this theory is wrong or flawed. Even if there happened to be multiverses, there would have to be a limit and not an infinite number of universes.
