Today Op was a faggot but a cool faggot like Neil Patrick Harris
I figure this would be a good opportunity for us to share cool WWII stories. I'll start.
According to family legend, my grand father, while serving with the 17th airborne in the battle of the bulge, had one of the luckiest hits in the world. So apparently, the inside of his helmet caught a bullet. The bullet came in on one side, traveled around his helmet like a marble going into a funnel, and out the other. The bullet took off a portion of his ear, but other than that he was fine. He was sent back to an aid station to so they could patch up his ear. While their they discovered that his knees and hips were really fucked up due to artillery. So he was sent back to London to heal up and get reassigned since he was no longer fit for combat. He ended up spending the remainder of his time in the army on a re-purposed country club in Georgia finding assignments for injured soldiers in the morning, and then playing golf all afternoon.

This gave me a feel i mean ww2 was so long ago and the veterans from that war are slowly fading away. just watch saving private Ryan it is undoubtedly the most accurate ww2 movie made. it's incredible what so many men gave for their country's they loved so dear.
