Difference between expressing an opinion with civility, and being a total ass about it. The opinions you see with red thumbs, is typically one that incited people to take offense. While typically an opinion that goes unmolested or is even thumbed up(this example is only for ones that differ from status quo.) are usually either well presented, or were brought up in a civil manner.

well no brit cops on the beat have guns, for raids and shit they will use guns, but not on patrol. the idea being you cannot protect people by keeping them intimidated and threatened. i believe the brit cops are the only country like this

how the fuck does that gun have a gun? guns are rare in Britain, gangs have fights over possession of single guns, so they will not use them for muggings, you will be at knife point, and your shit out of luck if someone pulls a gun on you in any country, if there is a cop nearby they will still help as they have the equipment (vests/cuffs) and training as well as their duty to help, also you will not be mugged if a cop is in the area in any country.

again, muggers cannot have access to guns, the black market is for drugs, goods bypassing tax and banned goods, not really for weapons, the biggest problem is Soldiers selling guns to the mob or terrorist group (the IRA bought guns of the soldiers and used those guns to kill the soldiers they were dealing with at the beginning of the troubles). and the mob isnt going to waste high profile guns on lowly muggers, only for assassinations and protection, believe me gun crime is high profile in GB, even gun muggings. muggers in UK do not have guns

I live in just about the shittiest area in England, there are 5 drug dealers on my street alone, i know people who are pretty submerged into all criminal activities and i only know of one person with an unauthorized gun and hes pretty much the biggest drug dealer around.

I live in Indiana and 10 yr olds have guns and drugs a lot of the time. America is fucking retarted.

Not true, you have English Stereotype foods and Scottish, I think a lot of people forget that we are two different countries alot. Like we eat Haggis and shit.

I'm just saying, I like a lot of British foods, and Scottish, but the stereotype that comes to mind in most Americans when you ask them "what is a British food?" whereas you ask them to think of an Italian food you'll get a myriad of expensive meats cheeses and noodle-dishes.

not so much, most just think of it in the same way that everyone else thinks of the USA, each state has a vastly different culture, history, accent, norms, and even social contract. so we tend to empathize with the UK as being a confederacy of many similar countries than anything. I know it's not, and that talking about Britain as a whole is not correct. then again I'm sure a lot of people in Europe like to group you guys together as "Britain" just like "Scandinavia" gets grouped together, etc.
