I downloaded many files and didn't get viruses

Whenever my friend was downloading songs, for some reason there was always this thing that came with it, that wasn't a song.
It was a sound file of a robotic voice saying stuff like "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"
Anyone else get this?
I never really had limewire, because I didn't have a computer back when limewire was being used loads.
