I could explain it but theres just so much too it.. Illidan the demon guy lusted for power which made him consume a skull and seek out artifacts to bolster his magic and strength. whilst his brother Malfurion took to a more natural path under the guidance of a demigod Cenarius. Nonetheless they were both night elves at some point, each following their own paths to power. and they both have a huge crush on the priestess tyrande, both competing for her love

samriimonkey (09/05/2012) [-] you are correct in a sense. malfurion was beside himself with rage when illidan stooped so low as to use demon magic, but he loves his brother more than he hates the demon he became. tyrande is a whore, torn between a beastly demon, and a beastly druid (no pun on the druid-beast part)

He became corrupted in his own pride and became evil, so to speak. And he was butthurt a bit because tyrande whisperwind loved Malfurion instead of him. He likes to yell "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED" alot.
