Because they are scared of one man? one man who as I mentioned earlier has almost nonexistant law enforcement? Where it would take a small group to rebel against one man and win? I think not. Human beings, no matter how capable as individuals, always work better in a group, as a team. We need each other, and most of us desire the companionship of others. Even if we do have angry outbursts, our brains have a built in inhibitor to stop us from killing each other, which is why most of the civilized world does not. This has nothing to do with leadership, but more to do with human nature as it is.
