No one else use Microsoft Security Essentials?
It's much better than any other free antivirus.

all the people who are ripping on apple at the moment, take note that they don;t have internet security because macs dont get viruses

Only because Mac users consist of less than 20 percent of the computing population, whereas PC users take up about 80. If you where designing viruses, would you design one that could possibly infect about 80 percent, or less than 20?

Haven't used an antivirus program in 4 years now. I do watch porn online, I do download illegal stuff and visit "dangerous" sites, but my computer works the same way it worked then, all my personal info is still safe and I do not plan on using one ever again. You may call me a conspiracyfag but I think it's all just a scam.

Yup, I used to do the same, until some people taught me how to know if I had a virus...
Every single person in Asia was tracking every letter i typed on my keyboard...
Never again...

Avast is actually a terrible antivirus. Believe it or now, Microsoft Security Essentials is by far one of the best, and it's free.
User avatar #37 - opiethepug (09/02/2012) [+] (1 reply)
I prefer Malwarebytes.
