No, seriously now, how is the immigration stuff? Is it hard to get a visa? Do you need a good job inside, or to bring money like in Brazil? I really want to live there.

to become a Canadian citizen you need to know 15 things about Canadian history, the royal whatchamacallit, and our national anthem. then its just being nice, polite and non asshole-ish. and to be honest...we fucking LOVE our hockey. we have pond hockey, street hockey, ice hockey, field hockey and ball hockey. we will deck out our garages in NHL stuff.

As for your perfect place in Canada, your best bet is anywhere in southern Ontario (ya know, Toronto, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, those places). just don't move to central Toronto. most crowded place in Canada. The outskirts of Toronto is your best bet for money and good home.

I like the countryside, and I like French, so I thought about Quebec, but I could live in English Canada as long as I don't live in anything as big as a big town (100.000 inhabitants).

So, I just have to memorize those things. The not being an asshole and being polite is in myself. I don't like sports too much, but maybe it's because of the football over-saturation in media here, so perhaps I could get used to hockey.

There are literally THOUSANDS of cities, towns, places in canada with less than 100 K people. Also, lots of farmland in southern ontario. Your best bet may be Orangeville (pop. 89 000), Orillia (pop. 19 000), and Barrie (pop. 129 000 but with lots of space).
as for Quebec, you have Saint laurent (pop. 94 000), Gatineux, (pop. 109 000) and dozens others. if you want a sleepy little town in Quebec, try Tadoussac. oldest town in all of canada. founded 1599. fuck load of history.
As for the sports, if you arent a fan, to each his own.

Absolutely, if you can speak English we'll be glad to accept you anywhere. If you can speak French, we'll accept you anywhere but you'd be better off in Québec or the Maritimes (East Coast). Canada is very multicultural and honestly, someone from Poland isn't likely to stand out at all. Definitely, though you won't need your french that much, unless you live in Quebec, near Ottawa or in a french town. It's nice that you speak both languages by the way, there aren't that many people who bother to learn french and english. If you choose to move I wish you that your immigration process won't too much of a pain in the ass!

I can't, I move around a lot with my dad. I was born in Alberta, moved to Michigan, then BC (Actually in Victoria, was a nice place but a bit too busy). Then we moved back to Michigan when I turned 15 and weren't there long before moving to where we are now.

His job moves him around a lot, so that sucks, but it's just me and him, so that's not too bad. Unfortunately I never got to experience cool things, like public school, or having life-long friends. But we're very financially stable... So I guess it was an okay trade.

I was born and live in Alberta too. It's an alright province. I'd much rather live in BC though. But Alberta is very well financially.

I loved BC. Beautiful place. Alberta seemed "richer", though, if you know what I mean.
