I'm not so worried about the kid.

I prefer Passing around the class a note saying

'Ask lots of questions, Then we won't do work!'

Asking reasonable questions =/= trying to impress the teacher.
If you just passively sit there wondering when the class will end, then don't complain school just makes you part of the herd.

Sometimes I worry that i'm that kid... I think the worse ones are the assholes who MUST instigate a fucking political debate, or who take every damned disagreement with their beliefs or answer as an attack and end up all butt hurt defending themselves.

I just like to share facts I thought were cool myself, that and I hate sitting idly by when nobody else is talking and I know the answer. XD

You do know you get better grades and better knowledge the more questions you ask and answer right?

My class is always ahead since noone ever asks questions. I, however ask questions pretty often. Depends on the class of course, and if im interested in knowing more about the subject.
