The only issue is that I bet people would post porn like motherfuckers, but then again, you could just do the hide NSFW thing you said, so yeah, that seems pretty bulletproof, and then anyone is happy, plus if someone decided to post porn outside of the "Post as NSFW" option then if like, idk, a certain number of people pressed a little thing next to your comment saying something along the lines of "Vote to change to NSFW" kind of like flagging a comment, and if that certain amount of people voted for it to be changed, and it was, it could just automatically go to NSFW comments instead. I don't see how that couldn't work.

but, if it is hiden away on your profile, it isnt as bad. many people who go on nsfw boards want a specific type of pictures and ask if they can be posted on their profile.

i think it's more of the fact that one would brake the rules. everyone will jusitfy this a different way, but in reality, if you post porn outside nsfw you brake the rules. it was said in the terms of service that posting porn outside nsfw will lay the ground for a ban.

I've never posted porn or gore, I even sometimes flag it, only complained once and still got banned.
