I can say the same, I haven't seen you too much either.

Making that game was kind of a mistake. I'm glad it advanced the story a bit, but It's a one time deal. I won't be playing it again.

Oh god the part where Zack fought Angeal fucking had me at tears....and let's not forget that ending. It was my first psp game and still my favorite.

Yeah, that was because FFVII was the first attempt at using the 3D models and such; whereas, FFVI still used the sprites. This is why people either love or hate FFVII.

- I love FF7 because it has an incredible story.
- Combat system is fun, limit breaks are cool,
- good characters,
- lots of extra little side games and side quests,
- characters all completely different in weapons and attacks,
- the graphics are such that even though they are poor it doesnt matter because they did what they could do well rather than try and over reach and do it badly even if it would have been good for the time. So the graphics add depth rather than just get worse every year.
- Simple enough that you could just cruise through it for fun but still enough depth that you can replay it and get all the hiden stuff and also say the right responces to get for example, Barret, tifa or yuffie to go on a date with you at the amusement park rather than Aeris.
-Plus all the variety of characters and materia combinations

Best game ever made including Ocarina of time, FF8, FF10, Pokemon and Mario 64

Exactly my point; however, the reason why some people HATE FFVII with a burning passion is that they prefer the sprites and didn't like the change from 2d sprites to 3D models. Every FF had something to add to the ever-growing series, except for FFXIV. That was a burning pile of shit that could NOT run.

I hate ff7 for all of those reason except the graphics because that doesn't really matter. (but going on the date with barret was pretty funny.)

My favorite is still 6 although my opinion is extremely bias because it was the first one I played, also FFXII is actually a crossover of Star Wars and FF

The XII was my first FF, and it still is my favourite (fun fact: i just restarted it yesterday, i'm now inside the rabanastre palace).
I've played other ff's, like VI(unfinished), VII, VIII (unfinished), IX, X, XIII, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus, Revenant Wings and Tactics, but the XII is the one that has that..."realistic" feel.
The world is much better than any other, there are a tually good reasons for monsters being what they are, even the villain is nothing other than a failed hero.

thats the way ff works, my first was 10 and thats the one with the best feel for me, and ofcourse best fighting system, its like pokemon evolved

And Hitman Absolution (while being before they made FFXIII-2, is still after FFXIII) seems pretty cool.

Also Sleeping Dogs has good gameplay.

I dunno, I liked Deus Ex. They made that after they made FFXIII

I've been pushing myself to finish FF13. I'm just starting to get into it and I will stand with you in saying that it's not terrible. It's actually pretty fun once you commit yourself to it.

Personally i think it's great. However there comes a point where if you try to 100% the game, you get to a certain point in doing the mission stones that you will have to stop and CP grind. even with the special item that doubles the points you get, it still takes hours and can get really tedious.

Ahhh but that's what I miss in FF. I play Dark Souls for the challenge, Soul Calibur for the VS battle, Fallout for guns, and homie? I play FF for the grind.

Then your in luck, i spent so many hours farming the little cactuars. if you let them grow a couple times before you hit them, its 10k cp each. good luck on finishing the game.

Every FF I've ever played has the 99:99:99 cap on it. I wear that with pride. 100% it is going to be a bitch though.

A little tip would be that the best party (according to the guide) is fang, lightning and hope.

I roll with Vanille, Lightning, then BL as Sazh. It's not the safest due to the lack of a sentinel, but it's high-risk high-reward. If everything goes right each battle doesn't even last a minute.

Thats a good party for grinding, however during the later missions like 51, 64 and during a long gui fight, a sentinel is vital. Even with 3 sentinels out and all having hp over 10k-15k, a long gui can wreck havock on you. It dosen't matter too much as after the game, all roles are avaliable to all characters.

Well that's good. I tend to pick my parties based on the characters themselves and just be more creative if they are not battle optimal. I just realized recently why I thought it was challenging because I never took the time to upgrade anything ever.

8 was crap. The gameplay, I mean. Play 9. Much better in all aspects.

I wouldn't say that exactly. It definitely had a really awesome story and it was the first 3D style of graphics of the Final Fantasy games but it had it's faults.

as with most people born around 1990. I loved it too but I wouldn't say greatest of all time, certainly one of the best FF's but not the best. I prefer 9 personally.
